I was saddened to learn of the passing of cousin Beverly. The last time I saw her 24 years ago, I got to see her usually sunny disposition and that sense of humor she acquired from her dad, who in turn learned from his dad, our grandpa. Over the years, my mother Hilda periodically encountered Beverly on a Grand Rapids city bus, where they were able catch each other up with family. From those encounters, I was able to stay abreast of some of the doings in her life and yours. My heart-felt condolences to cousins Bill, Bernie, Blain, Bruce, Betty and Bryan.

Bev was an incredible woman who will be missed by all who knew her. She is in God's arms now, with her parents. To all of her family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Beverly could remember anyone's birthday or the date of their wedding or the date of when the child was born. I would ask her the birthday of our Aunt and she could never figure why I did not remember it. "Guy Bern! You should know this stuff by now!" Nope I didn't. Heaven has gained a Major date Keeper. I was proud to have her as my Sister.
