I am so sorry to hear of Bevs passing. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Bev in L and D at AGH. Loved working with her. Not only was she very knowledgeable but had a great sense of humor . Even when she was going through Chemo, she never felt sorry for herself but joked about looking like uncle Fester when her hair fell out. Although she didn't dwell on her own suffering, she had such great compassion for others who were suffering. She was a great source of comfort to me when my mom was gravely ill and dying. I'll never forget how kind she was to me and my mom. I'll always remember our talks in the fishbowl at work. She loved to talk about Fred and Michael and Monica. I felt I knew them She loved and was so proud of you. I live out of state now , didn't know Bev was ill. Wish I could've been there for her like she was for me. May God bless and help heal the hearts of her children.. Miss you Bev.

Bev was a very special lady. I enjoyed the many conversations we had on the Greentree Bus going to and back from Pittsburgh.

My deepest sympathy to the LaMantia family in dealing with the loss of Bev. Even though I only talked with her a few times, she and my mom, The late Jean Reindle, had a bonded friendship over the years.

Aunt Bev was an amazing person. So sweet, kind, and very funny. She always lit up a room. We will miss her terribly. She is looking over all of us now with our dear uncle Fred.
