Beverly LeBlanc LeBlanc

DELCAMBRE – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mrs. Irvin LeBlanc, Sr., the former Beverly LeBlanc, age 80, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Fr. Herb Bennerfield will serve as celebrant for the services. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon on Friday until service time on Saturday with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.

A native and resident of Delcambre, Mrs. LeBlanc passed away at 5:00 am on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at her residence.

Beverly loved to be with her family and friends. She spent many weekends with her camping buddies as a life-long member of the Bon Temps Sam Camping Club of Delcambre. She also served six years as the Louisiana State Director of the Good Sam Camping organization besides holding other positions at the state level. Beverly was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Abbeville chapter. Her favorite past time was to crochet afghans and slippers for family and friends. She spent the majority of time with her beloved dog, Josie, her companion.

Mrs. LeBlanc is survived by her daughter, Cathy Broussard and husband Glynn of Delcambre; her son, Irvin LeBlanc, Jr. and wife Darlene of New Iberia; five grandchildren, Mike Broussard and wife Brandy; Jodi Romero and husband Mike; P.J. Broussard and wife Dayna; Patrice Smith and husband Matthew and Durke LeBlanc and wife Demi; eight great grandchildren, Aaden Broussard; Seth Romero; Briley Romero; Josh Ruiz; Mat Ruiz and wife LeeAnn; Haylen LeBlanc; Ty LeBlanc and Marley LeBlanc and one great great grandchild, Peyton Ruiz. She is also survived by two sisters, Merline "Buddy" LeBlanc and Lottie LeBlanc both of Delcambre; her aunt, Vanilla Vincent, cousin, Elda Dore; friend Vergie Delcambre, and sister in law, Nelvie Duhon.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Irvin "Joe" LeBlanc, Sr. and her parents, Peigneur and Elina Vincent LeBlanc.

Pallbearers will be Mike Broussard, P.J. Broussard, Michael Romero, Irvin LeBlanc, Jr., Durke LeBlanc and Tommy Joe Blair.

Honorary pallbearers will be Seth Romero, Ty LeBlanc and Aaden Broussard.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the following people for taking such good care of their mother. Special friend and caregiver, Mary Saunier and Sonia Landry; the Staff at Concepts of Care and St. Theresa's Hospice and Palliative Care; especially Brenda LeBlanc, Madge, Vicky, Christie and Sheila. Your help was much appreciated during mom's last days with us.
