Beverly Mead Obituary
Services will be held at Hillcrest Mausoleum Chapel, 1 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2017 with Reverend Johnnie Biggs officiating.
Beverly worked as a teacher's aide at Terrance Manor Elementary School and retired from University Hospital as a Telemetry Technician. Beverly enjoyed playing the accordion, embroidery, quilting, and many other crafts. She was a loving mother and grandmother, never met a stranger, and made friends everywhere she went. She was loved by all who knew her and she touched many lives. She will be deeply missed. Mrs. Mead was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, retired CSM Richard S. Mead and daughters Tina Marlane Mead and Kim Marie Williams. She is survived by her children Shelby Reed (Mike Matthews), Richard Mead (Nicole), and Brigetta Story (John). Beverly had 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.

I'll forever miss your sweet, smiling face and kind spirit. You were always cheery, gracious, welcoming...just so very friendly. I especially cherish the fun times we had engraving napkins for my wedding and the friendship made. You're missed here sweet Bev but Heaven has another angel in you. Blessed to have known you here. Will see you again, taking comfort in the promises of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. Praying for peace and comfort to the family always but especially in this hurting time.

I feel so Blessed to have had Bev as part of my life. I have so many memories of the happy times we had together. My prayers are for all of you in this time of sadness. Remember the happy times you had with her and the sadness will fade.
