Gayle Lynn Hinkle

Gayle Lynn (Jackson) Hinkle, 64, of Collinsville IL, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 in her home.

Gayle was born on February 18, 1954 to Floyd and Margaret Jackson in Springfield, IL. She married the love of her life, Ronald L. Hinkle Sr., on July 17, 1971. Gayle cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved watching game shows, movies, and she loved the St Louis Zoo. She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Blues fan. She will truly be missed by all of her family and friends who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond F. "Ray" Jackson and her brother, John Jackson.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 47 years, Ronald L. Hinkle Sr, of Collinsville, IL, her loving sons: Ronald (Katy) Hinkle Jr., of Troy, IL, and Christopher (Tina) Hinkle, of Lake Saint Louis, MO, her mother, Margaret Jackson, of Sherman, IL, two granddaughters: Mackenzie Hinkle and Emily Hinkle, two grandsons: Michael and Matthew Leonard, her siblings: Rick (Judy) Jackson, of Sherman IL, Judy Jackson, of Springfield, IL, and Joann (Vick) DeCroix of Germantown, IL, and a dear number of sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Lake View Funeral Home, located at, 5000 N Illinois Street, Fairview Heights, IL 62208.

Funeral Service: Funeral Services will be held immediately following visitation at 1:00 pm. Inurnment to be held in Valhalla Gardens of Memory Cemetery, located at, 3412 Frank Scott Pkwy W, Belleville IL 62223, at a later date.
