March 4, 1927-July 5, 2025

Beverly J Sullivan, 98, passed away peacefully on July 5,2025 in the care of Hospice at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. Born in Youngstown, Ohio to William E. and Ruth M. Lewis. She graduated from South High School and attended Kent State University. As a young girl some of her fondest memories included swimming and dancing at Idora Park along with bike riding and ice skating in Mill Creek Park.

Bev was a loving mother, an excellent homemaker and golfer. At one point she held the title of Women's Golf Champ at Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield Ohio. She was also awarded the Title of Mrs. Santa Claus for her fundraising work with All Children's Hospital of St. Petersburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Ruth Lewis, her sister Margaret Welsh, and her husband of 60 years Jimmy Sullivan, whom she married in 1949.

Bev is survived by her two sons, Gary (Janet) & Terry (Ellen); two Grandchildren Ryan Sullivan (Kristina) & Patrick Sullivan (Ali); two step-grandchildren, Jennifer Stockard (Terry), and Christy Lewis (Nathaniel) and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind two nieces, Jill Welsh, Cathy Martin, and nephew Jimmy Welsh.

Bev was a special lady and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. If you so desire, Donations may be made to Hospice or a charity of your choice in her memory.
