Billie Hanson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 25, 2024.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of my mother, Billie Waller Hanson, who was born February 16, 1945 and left us on November 20, 2024 after a beautifully lived life. She was a wonderful mother who was always there offering support, wisdom, and an abundance of love. Full of joy, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, Ida Lee Conner, her father, Thelbert Jones Waller Sr.; her brother, Thelbert Jones Waller Jr. "T.J."; and her nephew, James John Wolf "Jay". She leaves behind a daughter, Anne Hanson Mukalian and her husband, Michael; as well as a sister, Betty Waller Wolf; and countless friends who felt her warmth and kindness. A 'Celebration of Life' will take place at a later date with close friends and family. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the non-euthanizing animal support organization of your choice.

Not sure what my first memory is, but I do remember Billie being excited everytime I showed up to pick up Annie to go do something. Hanging out andd talking, wanting to know what we doing, and saying it sounded like fun. She loved hearing stories about Anne, most of the time to Anne's dismay. Which made it that much better!

So sorry to hear this sad news. Billie was the best. Such a fun parent to be around. Love you Annie!
