Billie Marie Harris was born March 9, 1943 to Dean and Dorothy Mullens Rasberry, and passed away in Conroe, Texas on August 17, 2015 at the age of 72. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending quality time with her family. She loved Splendora and served her city in numerous positions which include: Splendora City Council Member, Splendora Volunteer Fire Department District Board, and Splendora Founders Day Association. Billie Marie was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Vernon Courtney Barrow; step son Joseph Harris; brother, Robert Dean Rasberry. She is survived by her husband, Dewayne Harris; children: Bennie "Skip" Barrow and Lou Ann Barrow, Allen Barrow and Ludie Rodriguez, Teresa Jones and Mark Jones and Rachel Fillpot and Dan Fillpot; brothers: Dennis Rasberry, David Rasberry, Jesse Rasberry and Steven Rasberry; sisters, Stephanie Lindsey and Adell Nelson; grandchildren: Charles Barrow, Wesley Hicks, Jeremy Bratton and Sonja Bratton, Stephanie Barrow Garcia and Cannan Garcia, Courtney Jones Watz and Clayton Watz, Montanna Jones, Joseph Fillpot and Kerstin Fillpot; great grandchildren: Madison Bratton, Ethan Bratton, Peyton Bratton, Brandon Barrow Young, Octavian Barrow Garcia and Tanner Hicks Barrow.
Visitation was at Neal Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 6-8pm. Funeral Service was in the Neal Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at l0 am with Rev. Sherri Williams officiating. Burial followed in the Splendora City Cemetery. Pallbearers for the service will be: Ronald Dean, Roger Pagan, Matthew Jones, Chad Pollard, Clayton Watz and Dr. Scott Jones.
