Billie Jo Brown Watson

Billie Jo Brown Watson, age 72, a resident of Lick Creek Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Billie Jo was born September 15, 1945 in White Oak, Kentucky the daughter of Saul and Irene Isaac Brown. Also, preceding in death is son, Darren L. Gullett, and three brothers, J.B. Brown, Lowell Dean Brown and A.D. Brown. Billie Jo is a graduate of Salyersville High School and Mayo Technical College. She was employed by the Transportation Department of the Commonwealth of Kentucky until her retirement. Billie Jo enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was also very active with her church. Those left to mourn includes son, Gregory L. Gullett of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Courtney Beth (Jordan) McNabb of Cynthiana, Kentucky, John Gregory Gullett of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, great grandchild, Maddix Keith McNabb of Cynthiana, two sisters, Joyce Cunningham of Indiana, Judy Staniford of Ohio, and a host of family and friends who love and miss her. Funeral services for Billie Jo Watson will be conducted on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 1:00 PM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Wayne Meade Jr. and Jordan McNabb will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Brown Cemetery on Grape Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Thursday, January 11 after 10:00 AM and anytime prior to funeral services.
