Billy Ray Delp III
February 2, 1960 - April 8, 2023
Colleyville, Texas - Billy Ray Delp III entered eternal rest at age 63 on Saturday, April 8th, 2023, surrounded by his wife and three children.
Billy was born on February 2nd, 1960 in Forth Worth, Texas. The fourth of five kids, Billy lived a life defined by his relationships - with Christ, his beloved family and friends, and any stranger-turned-confidant he crossed paths with from all seasons of life. In 1985, Billy married the love of his life, Jill Everett Delp, and moved to North Richland Hills, Texas. They began their family and soon welcomed Billy Ray Delp IV into the world in 1987, followed by John Everett Delp in 1995 and Rosemary Marie Delp Moore in 1999. Billy's world became even brighter with the birth of his two granddaughters, Tavi (2016) and Quinlyn (2020), who adored their "Papa." Throughout his 63 years on this earth, Billy's life was full of once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, unique experiences, and remarkable travels that made for stories he shared until his final days.
Billy is survived by his wife Jill, three children, Billy Delp IV and wife Damaris Delp, Everett Delp, and Rosemary Delp Moore and husband Benjamin Moore, two delightful granddaughters Tavi and Quinlyn, his mother Gertrude "Trudy" Delp, and siblings Linda Hare (Dwain), Diana Gowdey, Donna Baker (Steve), and Kyle Delp (Brad). Billy is preceded in death by his father Billy Ray Delp Jr.
A visitation will take place on Friday, April 14th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Greenwood Funeral Home, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas. The funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, April 15th, at 12:00 pm at Greenwood Funeral Home to celebrate and honor the life of Billy Ray Delp III.

To the entire Delp family, we send our deepest sympathies for the loss of Billy, a pillar within your family. And if he be in Christ, then for him the assurance of perfect worship and the removal of the weight of sin are realized! We rejoice with you that God has called his soul to forever be with Christ the Ruling King, while bearing the deep sorrow of the absence here of one so loved.

Moving to Colleyville and living nextdoor to the Delps was one of the special blessings in our lives. They were such a wonderful family. We had 15 years of lasting memories. There were many evenings when i would be coming home after work and 5 minutes later Billy Delp was at my front door with a delicious dinner. I will never forget their kindness. Our prayers are with you Jill and the family
