Billy Peppers Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 4, 2019.
Billy W. Peppers, 68, of Rockford went to be with his Lord at 11:45 am on Sunday, February 3, 2019 surrounded by his loving family; his life expectancy was taken to soon due to massive organ failure. Billy was born in Tampa, FL, the son of Doyle and Elsie (Asbel) Peppers. He married Vicky Lynn Bianchi of Rockford on August 15, 1967. He was loved by many…Billy would give you the shirt off his back if you asked. He enjoyed working side by side with his two sons, Jamie and Josh, who are window and siding specialist. Billy worked his whole life and enjoyed doing so, Billy would open his heart to the many people he came into contact with on a daily basis. He was a great teacher of many different subjects and helped people grow with knowledge. His love for his family was unstoppable. He had many ups and downs but continued to love and support his family thru all times. Billy was a wonderful husband, his love for the outdoors was shown for his "love to ride"; he and his Harley were inseparable, he would ride for hours taking in the beauty of God's land. His family put him next to God in their minds, Billy was everyone's friend and his sarcastic humor was wonderful, he could put a smile on anyone's face. Besides riding his Harley, Billy loved working, fishing, fixing and working on anything. He loved Poker Machines and pleasing people.
Billy is survived by his two sons: Joshua Joseph and Jamie Allen; 4 brothers: Jerry (Lisa) Peppers, Steven Peppers, David Peppers and girlfriend Suzy, John Peppers; 4 sisters: Vicky (Mike Ruggles), Cindy (Carl) Nielsen, Susie (Jack) Elder and "Sissy" Sarah Lieb; 2 grandkids: Mike and Zach; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews as well as numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Billy was preceded in death by his wife Vicky, son Michael, father Doyle Peppers, mother Elsie Peppers, 2 brothers Bob and Donald Peppers, 1 sister infant baby girls, nephew Christopher Peppers.
"Billy will be greatly missed….We love you Dad"

I wish I could be there but distance and commitments keep me from coming. Billy was a great man and friend. I was going through a hard time but he would build me up and make me laugh. He made you feel so special. I truly will miss you my friend. Rest in peace my sweet friend. I'm sending love n prayers to the family.

Boys, I'm so sorry your Dad has died. He was respected and loved. His obituary says it all. During my house project he kept me reassured with his jokes and kind words. I know you are devastated. You have my deepest sympathy and prayers
