Billy J. Roberts

Mr. Billy J. Roberts of Cullman passed away on December 27, 2009 at Cullman Regional Medical Center at the age of 69. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday December 29, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Moss Funeral Home Chapel in Cullman Alabama with Rev. Jimmy Baker and Rev. Estel Riddle officiating. Interment will be in Oak Level Cemetery. Billy was born on February 23, 1940 to Millard Hobson and Lois Calvert Roberts. He graduated from Fairview High School in 1959. He graduated from Tennessee Valley Vocational School. He served in U.S. Army Reserve 1963 to 1969.He worked as a mechanic and a sheet metal Technician and general construction.He was a member of the American Legion.He loved gardening and caring for his pets, 2 cats and a dog. He was a member at Simcoe Baptist Church.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents, 1 Daughter: Brenda Kaye Roberts, and a Brother: Bobby E. Roberts. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Barbara Shedd Roberts, 1 Son: Randy C. Roberts, 2 Daughters: Rhonda (Gary) Parker, Gwenda (Leroy) Bryan 1 Brother: Jimmy Lee (Dean) Roberts, 1 Grandchild: Grant Wallace Parker, ! Sister-In-Law: Jesica Gilliland Roberts and a Nephew: Jordan Roberts. Visitation will be on Monday December 28, 2009 at Moss Funeral Home from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M.
