Bipin Chudgar Obituary
North Augusta, SC—Dr. Bipin Chudgar, 71, passed away on August 30, 2020 with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Tina; his children Pranav, Shubha, Reena, Christina, and Dylan; two grandchildren Tej and Niam; his sister, Anna (Narendra); sister in law, Sudha; and nephews Kandarp (Krisha) and Vishal (Ishita). He is also survived by close family residing in Atlanta, Georgia and across the US. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dr. Daksha Chudgar.
Bipin had a larger than life personality and influenced so many across the entire Augusta, Georgia, and South Carolina communities. He was a renowned OB/GYN physician, a philanthropist, and most importantly a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to all. He found pride in and dedicated his life to helping his family, patients, and others in the community. He also had a passion for acting and drama and could always be found shaking his tambourine at musical events. He had an eagerness for living life to its fullest, laughed at almost anything, traveled extensively to see the world, and his most favorite thing of all was to visit with his grandkids. Everyone who knew him has a story to tell about how he has supported or influenced them in some way. He was a hero to his kids. His infectious personality and big heart is irreplaceable and will forever be missed.
His most recent passion was to give back to his local community and help beautify green spaces. Thus, in lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be sent via https://bit.ly/3lzGvNJ for this purpose or to Golden Harvest Food Bank in Augusta, Georgia.
Due to current restrictions, the memorial service will be private and limited to immediate family only. However, a guest book will be available at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Rd, after 3PM on September 2, 2020 through 3 PM on September 4, 2020 for those who wish to stop by and share their memories of Bipin.

I don´t have a memory of Dr. Chudgar because I met him the day he pulled me out of my mother's womb. Intrigued to know who the doctor was who helped bring me into this world, I found out that it was Dr. Chudgar after reading my birth certificate. Reading his obituary warmed my heart to hear how amazing he was. I am grateful for Dr. Chudgar and pray that he is resting peacefully.

Dr. chudgar was the best doctor that did my hysterectomy. He always treated me with respect and I received the best treatment ever. I loved me some Dr Chudgar. I miss him so much. He will always be in my heart.

Dr. Chudgar was my OBGYN for years. He came out of retirement to be in with a colleague of his to assist with delivering my one and only child in 2013. I truly appreciated him and was so hurt of hearing this. RIP

I was so sorry to hear about Dr. Chudgar. He had been my doctor since Dr. Lemon passed away. I had seen Dr. Chudgar in June for my annual appt. and recently called his office to ask a question and was told the sad news. My deepest Sympathy to his family. He was a kind and great doctor.

I knew Dr. Chudgar for 20 years through business. He always had a smile on his face and had an amazing ability to pick up our conversation right where we left off in the previous encounter. That is why I always looked forward to seeing him. He will be missed - one of the kindest people I ever met.

Dr. Chudgar will be truly missed. He was a wonderful doctor and had a very calming spirit. He took excellent care of me when he was my doctor and I admired how he took care of all his patient as I would sometimes work with him in the OR. He was always the Ob/Gyn I would refer my family. Dr. Chudgar was my Doctor for nearly 30 years!! He delivered my last 2 children and a couple of grandkids!! He always took care of me and made sure all my medical issues were handled wonderfully!! I really loved his spirit and love of life!! I doubt I will ever find a doctor as great as he was!! He was loved by my children and myself!! Dr. Bipin was not just my doctor, he was also my dear friend. I began knowing him thru his previous wife, Daksha. They were both precious people with a genuine serene spirit, and I remember my husband and I attending his daughter's wedding announcement at their temple. What a beautiful celebration! He will forever be missed, and his legacy of compassion for others will forever live on in my heart. God Bless his family during their time of loss.

He had been my doctor for more than 24 years! He delivered both of our daughters and empathized with me during my youngest daughters terminal diagnosis. He went above and beyond as a doctor and had the heart of a servant!
