Blair Tozer

February 23rd, 1938 - August 21st, 2013 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Mr. Blair Tozer announces his unexpected passing on August 21st, 2013. Blair AKA ' Papa' was born in Miramichi, New Brunswick on February 23rd, 1938. Blair was a long time resident of Elliot Lake and was formerly employed by Denison Mine. Papa was a 'wheeler and dealer' of sorts! Papa loved playing crib and attending dances at the anchor club of Elliot Lake. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Blair will be remembered by his former spouse Faye, his son Shane and his daughter Sherry. He will be sadly missed by his 5 grandchildren, Ashley (Scott), Lyndsey (Kris), Whitney (Jason), Cyle (Megan), Shana (Matthew), as well as his 4 great grandchildren, Auroara, Kaylyn, Braidyn and Lawson. He will also be remembered by his surviving siblings, Donald, Gerald, Glen, Kenneth and Margaret, all of New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his parents, Hubert and Margaret and his brother James. Papa will always be remembered for his sense of humour and his 'drinking days' stories. We would like to extend a Thank You to all of the wonderful people who helped care for this amazing man, including those at St. Joes and TBRHSC!! You were all a large part of his life and his recovery! Thank You for all you did for him and us!!! Funeral Services will be held on Saturday August 31st, 2013 from 12:30-3pm at the Westfort Prosvita on Gore Street. "
