Crystal Kitchen Obituary
Crystal Belle Kitchen, 90, of Glendale, AZ, died peacefully at home on November 26, 2010 of complications from cancer. Crystal was born in Hancock, Wisconsin, on February 20, 1920. Crystal earned a teaching degree at Central State Teachers College, Stevens Point, Wisconsin and taught for three years. She married the love of her life, Forrest Kitchen, who returned from active duty in 1945. They moved to Arizona in 1951. They had two sons Harold (Linda) and Robert (Dixie), four grand children and five great grandchildren. Crystal is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Laura, her husband Forrest, sisters Belva, Beulah, Lucile, and brother Leslie. Her passing brings us great sorrow and her presence in our lives will be missed and she will be in our thoughts and hearts forever. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 5th from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Best Funeral Services, 9380 West Peoria Avenue, Peoria, AZ. Services to follow. Crystal will join her beloved husband Forrest at the National Memorial Cemetery in Phoenix.

Those two precious people , Forrest and Crystal will always remain in our hearts and memories...As they look down upon their family from above we can feel the warm flow.. Their home here has still always been filled with family love and many can be thankful for that..Stella Ave. should be renamed Kitchen Ave....Memories of them both in pictures are many....

May God Bless you both for the Loving Care you provided in the last years of your Mother's life. It is a positive reflection upon her, and the way she raised you. Please except our heartfelt sympathy from the Rivers family.

Crystal was like a Mom to many of us, if not definately , a very "special" lady. She always seemed quiet while taking in all the "goings on" we talked about. I rememeber when I told her something funny she'd give her best smile and the cutest laugh. It was perfect to warm your heart for the rest of the day. We loved her dearly and our hearts share with you the sadness of saying goodbye. Larry and Sandy
