I met bo years ago when she was at hot105. She was doing a promo at this club called heat of the city. I hung out with her all night at the club, and at the end of the night I asked for her autograph. She wrote something on a napkin then signed her name. That was in 1985 and still have that napkin after all these years. I miss you bo and I will always cherish the years you were on the air here in south Fla.

RIP Bo we has such great times partying the night away in South Florida. Those where the days from HOT 105 to Powers 96 you where the life of the party and you will be missed. My deepest condolences to your family.

Hey Bo,
Some of the funniest radio I ever heard was when at Power 96 you and your crew did impersonations of the news team at Channel 7 that had me laughing all morning!
Awesome job.... I know you're in heaven making everybody there laugh as well.

To Polly & Family, I offer my deepest condolences to you all. I know I have plenty of memories of my personal time with Bo to keep me in stitches for a while. I can still see her smile and hear that hearty laugh. She is in our Father's care where there is no more suffering. I've cried plenty but God says "I'll see her again in her new glory". RIP

I really enjoyed listening to her on the radio here in South Fla when I was a teenager. She is such a beautiful lady with a sweet spirit. She is truly missed, but I am happy that she is no longer suffering. Go on and fly, Angel!

My name is "Uncle" Byrd. Bo and I were childhood sweethearts over 30 years ago. I met her in a Brooklyn subway station and fell hard (Not on the platform, but for her!) She was sexy, funny, vivacious, witty and a class act. And when she called me "Baby", I drooled like one. Our paths parted several times over the years, but somehow, we always managed to get back in touch. I'm heartbroken, but I know Bo and I'm sure God's gettin' a kick outta Bo right now! RIP, my love.

I had the pleasure of meeting Bo when she had the boutique in Greenville, SC. She was on Magic 98.9 here in Greenville for awhile and I always listened to her morning show. She had such a soothing and calming presence about her. She was an angel here on earth, she was a role model and she will be missed. My prayers are with her family at this time. Such a great loss.

I listened to the morning show on Power 96 with Mindy and Bo from the time Bo started until she left. It has never been the same since. No one will ever be able to replace her. She had a laughter that was contagious, a great personality, and a beautiful smile. She and Mindy were amazing together all of those years. Bo you will be truly missed. I remember when you were on Hot105. I had just moved to Florida from New York, I used to listen to you everyday and whenever you were in Ft Lauderdale hosting a event or just broadcasting at the mall or at any companies I was always there. You were always smiling and very cheerful. I remember talking to you. I told you I came from New York and you welcomed me here. I told her that i lived her voice and she started to laugh and said Thank you. You will be so dearly missed. My girlfriend called and told me last night that she passed away and my heart broke, I ad seen her on TV from time to time after leaving Power 96 and she was always the same bright and bubly with an infectious voice that you had to listen to, We loved Minday & Bo in the morning (Morning radio was never the same again when she left) She will truly be lissed by those of us who listened to her every day, RIP we love u <3

Bo, whenever you came to do a promo shoot at WBFS-TV when you worked at Power96 you were always late and the shoot always ran long...but the crew (and I) never cared...your smile and personality lit up the sound stage and studio like no one else before or since...we were always sad when the shoot ended because that meant you were going to leave us. You've been on my mind a lot lately for some reason, I guess now I know why...the shoot has ended and it's time for you to move on. God's speed, baby. I really miss you. All my love.

The brightest light in the building is dim. Bo Griffin was always not only the brightest light in the room, she was the brightest light in the building. I thought I was still sleeping when I saw it across the ticker taker this morning then on channel 7. I called power 96 for Laz as soon as I got in the car because I knew of the current morning show, only Laz could confirm it. Bo, I used to listen to Mindy & Bo show on Power 96. U guys used to crack me up. And I was one of the many people that used to sang Happy Birthday to you and the POWERHOUSE concerts that they used to have. I hated it when you left the area.
