Bob Glim

Bob Glim, age 63, passed away on October 12, 2016. He was a big family man, loving father, grandfather, and husband. Bob loved holidays, especially Christmas. He enjoyed giving back to the community, working with LSU at recruiting parties, and was an avid LSU and Yankee fan. Bob was a longtime friend and confidant of T.J. Moran, and worked for T.J. Rib's for 27 years. All the employees called him Uncle Bob, and would always say "Everybody loves Bob". Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy Glim; his children, Heather Daugherty Brock and husband, Ronnie, Brian Daugherty and wife, Kim, Jason Glim and wife, Terri; his grandchildren, BJ Borresen, Connor Borresen, Levi Brock, Taylor Daugherty, Brandon Daugherty, Harrison Glim and Hayden Glim; his siblings, Ruthie Glim and Johnny Glim; and his niece, Sara Spoth and husband, Jeff. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Fritz Glim and his brothers, Buzz Glim and Michael Glim. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. from 6:00 pm until 10:00 pm. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 11:00 am at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the name of Bob Glim to Mary Bird Perkins and the Louisiana Eyebank.
