RAI, Bob
Born June 25, 1966, left us on June 12, 2014. Bob was born in Quesnel, BC and his hometown was always a source of pride for him. Childhood days of soccer, motorcycles, outdoor hockey rinks and other small town experiences led to his adult love of the outdoors, barbecues, camping, boating and water sports. Bob embraced the purest joys of life: family, friends and food. He was forever drawing family and friends together, and his kitchen was always the epicentre. A crackling bundle of reserved energy, Bob could never sit still, slowing only to perch on the end of his kitchen island to quietly observe his family and friends enjoying his culinary delights. Bob was the bonding agent of the family; forever organizing family get- togethers, vacations, and recording each moment with candid photos. Bob's presence, character and love are forever etched in our hearts and he will live on in each of us. Bob will be dearly missed by Gurminder, Neesha, and Darcy; mother, father- in-law, brother and sisters; cousins, brother-in- laws and sisters-in-laws; uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and his friends - childhood and adult alike. A special thank you to all of the medical practitioners from Surrey Memorial Hospital and Royal Columbian Hospital who cared for Bob and our family during our time of need. Rest in Peace Bob, until we meet again. A Celebration of Bob's Life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. at Riverside Funeral Home, 7410 Hopcott Road, Ladner, BC.
