Bobbie Meredith Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 27 to Mar. 30, 2024.
St. Augustine - Mother, Sister, Nana, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend;

Bobbie Elenor Robbins Meredith passed away February 8th, 2024 while visiting the home of her daughter in Sevierville, Tn.

Born to parents Ruth Kenson Robbins and William H. Robbins Jr in South Hampton, Long Island October 12, 1949, only 6 weeks later the family would move to Florida, first to Eau Gallie and finally settling in St. Augustine a year later. She attended Orange Street Elementary before moving on to The Rosarian Academy in West Palm Beach during middle school. While in high school at St Joseph's Academy she enjoyed surfing at North Beach, cheerleading, and being in the Carousel production. After reaching high school she lived with her sister and brother-in-law where she helped look after her niece and nephews, due to her parents splitting their time between work in the Bahamas and their St. Augustine office. She was interested in nursing and after a suggestion from her brother-in-law she graduated from Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta in 1972, nursing patients in Oncology, Industrial Medicine, and NICU, with the latter being closest to her heart. She was a talented embroiderer and quilter, enjoyed reading, gardening, doing crossword puzzles, going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and eating Mexican food with "Hawkeye".

Bobbie is survived by sister and brother-in-law Betty and Frank Usina, children Michelle Meredith and Mitchell (Jamie) Steele Meredith, grandchildren Autumn, Gage, Adam, Abigail, Destiny, Trinity, Jayelin, and Taylor, niece and nephews Catalina, Frank Jr., Ken, cousin Gail Kenson, Great nephews and nieces, and a close circle of friends.
