Bobbie Stephensen 1987~2005 Bobbie Arlin Stephensen, age 18, of Mona, passed away August 14, 2005, in Nephi, from injuries due to a car accident. He was born August 2, 1987 in Payson, Utah to Lynn C. and Lucinda Ann Wilson Stephensen. His father passed away September 8, 1989. Bobbie moved to Mona when he was 5 years old after his mother married Richard Kay. He was a member of the LDS Church and attended Juab High School. He was a hard worker and was employed by Nephi Sandstone. Bobbie loved the outdoors, camping, 4 wheelers, hunting, growing up on the farm and running heavy equipment. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and loved his family. He was always helping others. Bobbie always had a smile on his face and will be dearly missed by his many friends and family. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Lucinda Kay of Mona, UT; two sisters and one brother, Stephanie (Jory) Rosquist of Mona, UT; Jeremy (Shayla) Stephensen of Nephi, UT; Natalie Stephensen of Mona, UT; two step-brothers and three step-sisters, Derek Kay of Nephi, UT; Misty (Juston) Palmer of Washington, UT; Darci (Kortney) Leavitt of Washington, UT; Dustin (Lisa) Kay of Mona, UT; Mandy (Jeryd) Arellano of Grand Junction, CO; grandparents, Terry and Lucille Jensen of Fountain Green, UT; Ralph Wilson of Levan, UT and Wallace and Gaye Kay of Mona, UT. a nephew, Tanner Rosquist; two nieces, Whitlee Rosquist and Talya Stephensen; four step-nephews, Brayden Kay, Kayden and Kyson Palmer, and Ryder Leavitt; five step-nieces, Shelby, Kassidy, Macee and Joey Kay and Rylee Leavitt. Preceded in death by his father Lynn C. Stephensen and grandparents, Arlin and Nellie Stephensen. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 18, 2005 in the Nephi North Stake Center, 1125 N. 400 E.. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 W. 300 N. Nephi and at the church from 9:15 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Fountain Green Cemetery.

Lucinda, I was so sorry to hear of the loss of your son. My sister, Andrea Chapman, told me about Bobbie. I remember how supportive the ward in Mona was when Andrea lost Bryce. Heavenly Father is so merciful to send people to us in our time of need who understand and have such compassion. I know that He will bless you and your family. You are in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. Bobbie was a great kid, just like the rest of his family. Jeremy, Natalie, and Stephanie just remember all the wonderful memories you got to experience with him, because there will be plenty more when you are all together again.

Bobbie's family...He was a great kid and you all have a wonderful family. I know that my brother Kevin loved bobbie as he talked about him often. Bobbie was so happy and a joy to be around. I know that his reunion with his dad is so great for him and the day will come when you will all be together. Just know that families are forever.
