Ann Marie Wallace, 73, of Washington Street, West Pittston, died Sunday at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.

Born Oct. 7, 1939, in West Pittston, she was a daughter of the late John and Genevieve Manganello Barnhart.

Ann Marie was a graduate of the West Pittston High School.

Her calling in life was to meet the many needs of her family by providing a loving and nurturing home to her husband and son.

Her husband, Carl, died in 2003.

She will be greatly missed by her son, Carl, and his wife, Linda, West Wyoming; grandchildren, Karl and Shannon Wallace; sister, Rose Plisko, Wyoming; nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

Celebration of Ann Marie's life will be held Friday with a graveside service at 11 a.m. at West Pittston Cemetery, Susquehanna Avenue, West Pittston.

McLaughlin's – The Family Funeral Service is assisting Ann Marie's family with arrangements.
