Bobby Joe Hook Jr.

Bobby Joe Hook, Jr., age 45, of McKinney, Texas, passed away July 6, 2009, in McKinney. Bobby was born November 24, 1963 to Bobby Joe (Bob) and Ruth (Hamilton) Hook, Sr. He married Lauren LaCotts formerly of Camden, Arkansas. Bobby graduated from Fairview High School in Camden, Arkansas. He went on to graduate from Louisiana Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. While there, he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Bobby was a successful business owner for many years.

He is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Lauren Hook of McKinney; daughter, Emily Ann Hook; son, Wyatt Hamilton Hook; parents, Bob and Ruth Hook of Quitman, Arkansas formerly of Camden, Arkansas; sister, Karen Hook Barnett and her husband, Darren and their two daughters of Sheridan, Arkansas; and numerous other loving nephew, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 11, 2009, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Pastor Chris Stull officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 13, 2009, at West Mount Zion Cemetery in Hartman, Arkansas with Rev. Jim Sanders.
