Funeral service for Mr. Bobby Shane Freeman, 49, of Oxford but living in Omaha Nebraska, will be Friday, January 9, 2015 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Darrell Wood and Bengie Miller officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forestlawn Gardens. Mr. Freeman passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Freeman; mother, Patsy Watts Collier; father, Cecil Freeman (Crickett); sister, Sherry Denham (Mike); nieces, Leslie Peek (Keith), Allison Sparks Moon (Kevin); nephew, Brett Sparks (Katie); step son, Brandon Jennings (April), Jay Jennings; five great nephews; five step granddaughters; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jeff Davidson, Shane Blackwood, Pokey Craven, Brandon Jennings, Blake Greenwood and Brian Gummin. Mr. Freeman graduated from Munford High School in 1983. He went on to join the Navy where he retired with 20 years of service where he received several honors and metals.
