Teesa Thorpe

My name is Teesa Thorpe, most of you might know me as Michael Gilman and Jennifer Thorpe's oldest daughter. I thought of Bobby as an uncle of mine. My favorite memory with Bobby is playing hit for hit. Which was something he loved to do randomly and you didn't know when it was coming or who he was volunteering to play it with him. I remember one particular time when we played it. I had just become a sophomore in highschool and had gotten my class ring. My parents where at his house and I had walked over to show them it. And no sooner had I walked into the door he had started to play hit for hit with me saying "What up punk. how you been?" I hit him back saying "not much Bobby just going to school" apparently I didn't hit him hard enough for his liking because he responded with "come on girl your a gilman I know you can hit harder then that; hit me again" I didn't hit him has hard as I could the first time because I was wearing my class ring but when he told to him harder; I hit him a little harder and he rubbed the spot where I hit and said "okay girl, ow that one actually hurt a little" I told him "I'm sorry but you did tell me to hit you harder" he just laughed and said "you're right I did, I just wasn't expecting it to actually hurt". I just laughed and said "I'm a gilman remember" and we both laughed. That is an always will be my favorite memory with him. I will miss him deeply.
