Bobby Witt Obituary

Bobby G. Witt Bobby G. Witt, age 78, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at Wellmont Regional Medical Center. He was a Korean veteran and of the Presbyterian faith. He was born on Sept. 19, 1931, in Bristol Tennessee. Bobby was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby R. Trinkle; and his daughter, Leslie Witt Fuller. Gene was appreciative of the love and devotion shown to him through the years by Jack and Bernice Booher, Windy Steven and children, Sharon Brown, Harold Worley, Linda Sue and Gary, Michael Cohan and wife Judy. He loved his faithful friends, Lucy, Buddy and Scout. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Jimmie Low Witt; two sisters, Bernice Booher and husband Jack, Naomi Peters; two brothers, R.L. Trinkle and Eugene Trinkle; son-in-law, Howard J. Fuller. The family would like to thank the staff of 4 West, ER doctors, life saving crew, the ambulance service and Dr. Charles Bolick. There will be no services. Gene's wishes were to be cremated. Akard Funeral Home, 1912 W. State St., Bristol, TN (423) 989-4800, is serving the family of Mr. Witt.

Dearest Jimmie Lou,
My heart goes out to you at this time - I was actually at the hospital with mom (Naomi) when we found out about Uncle Bobby passing. If you need anything at anytime just call me please. He's with God and Leslie now.
