Bobette B. "Bobby" Gladstein

Bobette "Bobby" Gladstein passed away on March 2, 2018, at her home in Sacramento, CA. Her unexpected passing has left a deep void in the lives of her family and friends. Bobby was born on July 31, 1937 in Memphis, TN. She was a life-long learner who read multiple newspapers every day. From her earliest married days in McAlester, OK, she took correspondence classes through the University of Oklahoma, and earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees. After leaving Oklahoma, she moved to Arlington, VA where she became a real estate investor and a docent at two museums. Bobby loved to travel and was always ready to go on an adventure. She once traveled around the world and she made several trips to China. Another of Bobby's passions was maintaining a great quality of life and encouraging others to do so. She created a class called "Bend, Breathe and Balance" that combined yoga, pilates and meditation. Since moving to Sacramento, she taught at three different locations in the area. Bobby's motto was "No Pain, All Gain" and she believed in enjoying good food and good wine especially with her family and friends. Bobby is survived by her two children Mark Gladstein (Robin) of Houston, TX and Margaret Gladstein (Tim Brandabur) of Sacramento; four grandchildren Mallory Gladstein Spence (Andrew), Michael Gladstein (Megan), Kirby Gladstein and Michelle Brandabur. Friends are invited for a celebration of Bobby's life on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Cafeteria 15L in Sacramento. In lieu of flowers, please consider a gift to Planned Parenthood or KVIE.
