Boguslawa Koziol Obituary
After immigrating to the United States, Boguslawa began her career in healthcare at Lutheran General Hospital in 2002 as a nurse's assistant. Her dedication and determination led her to pursue further education later in life. With great perseverance, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing after the age of 50-a testament to her strong will and passion for caregiving. She went on to become a Registered Nurse, a role she embraced with deep commitment and compassion.
Boguslawa was known for being very devoted to her job and the ones she loved. As a single mother, she did everything in her power to be the best mother she could be. Her love and sacrifices left an indelible mark on those closest to her.
She is survived by her beloved son Michael Greco; her sister Maria Wolak; and her brother Anthony Koziol. She was preceded in death by her brothers Karol Koziol and Michal Koziol.
A devout Catholic, Boguslawa found strength and solace in her faith throughout her life. Outside of work and family, she enjoyed gardening-a peaceful pastime that reflected her nurturing spirit.
May Boguslawa's memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her. A Wake will be held on September 30, 2025, from 03:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Skaja Funeral Home 7812 N Milwaukee Ave, in Niles, IL. Everyone is welcomed to attend. A Funeral Mass will be held on October 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Saint John Brebeuf Parish 8305 N Harlem Ave, in Niles, IL. Everyone is welcomed to attend as well.
