Bonnie Lee Voss, 82, of Missouri Valley, passed away Sept. 27 at UNMC in Omaha, Neb. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Sept. 30 at the Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley with Pastor Richard Neiderhiser officiating. Casket bearers were Jim Danker, Josh Dinsmore, Michael Voss, Jeff Dinsmore, James Voss and Anthony Antwine. Final resting place was the Greenwood Cemetery near Logan.

Bonnie was born in Woodbine on April 23, 1927 to William and Esta (Straight) Peterson. She spent most of her childhood on the farms around the Modale and Orson areas. Bonnie married Deward "Duke" Voss on Nov. 4, 1945 in Council Bluffs. She worked many years at the Tamarack Steak House, Brownell Talbot School and Crossroads of Western Iowa. Bonnie enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include her children, Jim Dinsmore and wife Linda of Blair, Neb., Mick Voss and wife Ellen of Plano, Texas, Lynn Voss and wife Cindy of Louisburg, Kan.; sisters, Gwendolyn Jackson of Missouri Valley, LaVelle Gerratt of Logan, Larenne Straight of California; special friend, Max Davis; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
