Brad Edson Michaels Sr.

Born August 13, 1930 passed away on May 11, 2020 at Mission Hospital, Mission Viejo, California from pneumonia. He was born in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada. His parents lived near the border in Maine and traveled to New Brunswick to the nearest hospital where Brad was born. Brad graduated from South Portland High School in 1948. After graduation he joined the U.S. Navy and spent his tour in aircraft carrier & submarines as a radio service technician. He finished his tour of duty then proceded to attend college at the University of Maine where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Solar and Caterpillar until retirement. He married his wife Diana Malamas on May 19, 1990. They lived in Carson City, Nevada and recently moved to Southern California to be near family. Brad is survived by his wife Diana, daughters Cecelia Durnin and Celeste Michaels, sons Brad Jr. Michaels and Johnathan Michaels, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, his sister Dee and step children Mike Jack, Jami Gillum and Jill Espinola.
