Bradford Jensen, Sr.

Bradford "Brad" Jensen, Sr. was born on February 11, 1942, in Oakland, CA, Alameda County, to Margaret Souza and Arthur Jensen. He peacefully passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 81 in Fremont, CA. Brad was a beloved husband of 58 years to Prudence Jensen and a loving father to Lynne Wright, Laurie Jensen, and Bradford Jensen, Jr. He was also a cherished grandfather to Millicent and Elisa Wright.

Bradford was known for his gregarious nature, sense of humor, and his love for people. He had a genuine interest in listening to others and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His generosity extended to numerous charities, and he was a dedicated supporter of his home parish, St. James the Apostle Catholic Church.

In his career, Bradford worked as a Pressman, Shop Steward, and Supervisor for Weibel Winery. He also served as a Pressman for FP Label. His dedication and hard work made a lasting impact in the industry.

Outside of work, Brad enjoyed a variety of hobbies including reading, watching movies, genealogy, heraldry, history, and sci-fi. He found joy in volunteering his time and making a difference in his community.

A viewing will be held on Monday, July 10, from 4-8 pm, with a rosary from 6-7 pm and an eulogy immediately following. A mass to celebrate Bradford's life will take place on Tuesday, July 11, at 11:30 am at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, located at 34700 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, CA 94555.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bradford's memory to any of his favorite charities. These include St. Mary's Mission, supporting the local Navajo who live in extreme poverty, at PO Box 39, Tohatchi, NM 87325 (www.stmarytohatchi.org), the Wounded Warrior Project (www.woundedwarriorproject.org), and the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Alameda County (https://www.svdp-alameda.org/).

Bradford will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
