Brad was the best of friends growing up. We lived one door apart and did everything together....he was extraordinarily fun and adventurous. I would know something was going to happen as he would get that mischievous grin and twinkle in his eye...then off we´d go...he would lead us on bike rides deep into Cheyenne Canyon to go hiking around Helen Hunt Falls or up Mt Cutler, or spelunking in any of many caves; or even biking to Air Force Academy graduations. Countless fishing trips together with his great dad, Harold. Teaming up for numerous years of bowling - and man, he was GOOD! Working each summer at the 8th Street fireworks stand, followed by blowing up yucca plants on "the Dud", and neighborhood bottle rocket wars.....I will always remember those great times growing up.
Brad was a bit better at everything than I, I could never seem to catch up. But he always showed caring, compassion and generosity at that young age....when I would falter, fall behind or make mistakes, he would always lend a hand and encouragement. As I look back, I realize l learned what friendship means from Brad, without even knowing it was happening.
Unfortunately we had to grow up and I moved away from beloved Colorado - but when I returned to visit, the smile and twinkle in the eye were always there. And I know they are bigger and brighter than ever, as Brad now enjoys a grand, never-ending heavenly adventure with the Father!
May the peace of our Lord fall upon Deb and the whole family, with the knowledge that Brad is forever enjoying His peace.

I worked with Brad at Current many, many moons ago. He was such a kind and gentle spirited man. I will always remember the kindness that he gave me during a really rough time in my life. He will always be remembered. I can see him now sitting and having a good laugh with one of his best buds Jim McDonald. They were both such great people to know. May God give you peace at this time and know that he was so loved.
