BECKER, Bradley Wayne It is with great sadness that the family of Bradley Wayne Becker, age 45, announce that he was suddenly taken from us on Wednesday, January 14, 2009. His life was cut short as a result of a violent industrial accident. Brad's death is a terrible shock to the family. Brad leaves behind his loving wife Elizabeth (Bette) and four children, Bradley Jr. (Robyn), Brandt, Jordan and Amber. He also leaves behind his mother Ruby, brother Kevin and sisters Crystal, Tami and Tracy. Also left behind are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and many friends. He was predeceased by his father Grant, (whom we lost a short time ago) and his brother Gary. Brad was born on July 15, 1963 and grew up in Edmonton. He was an avid Oilers fan, enjoyed life, a man who gave laughter and joy to everyone he knew and met. Brad we will really miss you, but we let you go until we hug again in heaven. A Celebration of Brad's life will be held on Friday, January 23, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Park Place Funeral Home, 51 Broadway Boulevard, Sherwood Park (east of Boston Pizza, off Baseline and Broadmoor), viewing from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to OLPH Parish or Parish of one's choice as expressions of sympathy. "We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new,
We thought of you yesterday,
And days before that too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories.
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake.
With which we will never part.
God has you in his keeping.
We have you in our hearts."

Love you and miss you always.

daddy,
I was always honoured to be your baby girl! I never showed it until i was old enough to realize you were more special to me than i thought and vise versa. Im SO VERY PROUD i look like you and act like you as well.. i used to be mad when people would say you look like your father or you act like your father now it just makes me smile! we will carry on your humorous legacy you had left behind.. i even contiplated knocking out my tooth! haha anyways it just hurts me to know you wont be there on my wedding day to walk me down the isle.. im sorry for the loss but im happy for the memories you left behind! I know time will heal.. but it will take a while. I will NEVER forget you!
Love always; your baby girl

Dear Bette and family.
This is so tragic and surreal. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Brad will be sadly missed. He was a kind man and his laughter was infectious. I can only hope you take comfort in our words and draw strength from all of us who are praying for you and your family.
My deepest sympathy.

Brad will be remembered as a man who worked hard and was very pleasant to deal with. There are many who saw Brad and Bette daily in their workplace and they brought a sense of fun every time. Many thoughts and prayers at this difficult time!

I loved my husband so very much, his smile, his charm, his loving touch.
I know i have to let him go
but i'm not ready and hurting so.
there will come a time the pain will ease.
but it's times like now friends
when they share my grief.
i feel blessed to have them here
and brad would be happy your there
to help me, his friends are so dear
