Bradley BOSWELL Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Apr. 13 to Apr. 15, 2018.
Bradley Graham Boswell passed away peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital with his family members by his side. Born in Vancouver on February 28, 1946, Brad was the eldest son of James and Nancy Boswell. He graduated from John Oliver Secondary in Vancouver and later in life had a successful career at BC Hydro/Translink/Coast Mountain Buses. September 8, 1973 Brad married Catherine (Cathy) Boswell. They moved to Ladner to raise their family where they lived for 31 years. The next move brought them to Nico Wynd in South Surrey where they continued to make many good friends and memories. Brad loved spending time with his family, walking his dog, gardening, fishing, travelling and watching his grandchildren play sports. Brad is survived by his wife Catherine, his mother Nancy Boswell, his daughter and son-in-law, Heidi and Andrew Ferguson, (Granddaughter and Grandson Alli and Ty) his daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Ward Cooper (Grandsons Kenny and Riley) his son James Boswell and his two brothers Larry (Carol) (nephews Mat & Ben) and Keith (Gail) Boswell. Brad will be fondly remembered by his family and all who knew him. He welcomed everyone into his home and made everyone feel comfortable whether it was with his laughter or telling jokes. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday April 29th at East Delta Hall, 10379 Ladner Trunk Road at 1:00 pm. My condolences for your loss. Brad came to my bus when I was an Operator and gave me the news that I was accepted into the Training Dept. as a full-time Instructor. He was the manager at that time. I will always remember his big smile (and mine) that September afternoon, 2004.

Brad lived his life with a lot of class and we admired the incredible courage he showed following his terminal diagnosis. We kept in touch with Brad through family get togethers and his great story telling and infections laugh will never be replaced. We are proud to have been his cousins. He was a great man.

I worked with Brad in the training department at Coast Mountain Bus. He was a great boss and I enjoyed working with him. He laughed a lot and talked of his family often. I am so sorry he has gone so soon.....

Dear Boswell family - I was shocked when Ross called me to tell me about Brad - I have known him since I was a young girl when he and the close group of friends were always at our house at 5624 Commerical in Vancouver.
My thoughts are with you at this sad time
