Brad was a high school friend from Littleton. He was always a gentleman, always had an ear to listen, a voice to sing! Brad was a gentle man who will be missed.

I'm sorry for your loss Diane. Brad was a nice guy and a good musician with a nice singing voice. You loaned me a CD he made and I enjoyed it. Best wishes.

Brad was one of the nicest men I've ever known. He was also an incredible musician! First met him when he had just teamed up with John Burrows, at The Flintlock. I was floored by their talent. He will be forever missed and loved.❤

My deepest sympathy to all who knew Brad. We have been friends for some 53 years our houses being separated by just a short walk through a field. Often he would make the walk if he heard me in my back yard playing guitar to offer some pointers. A saying I have found comfort in through the years ...
Those we love don't go away, They walk beside us every day, Unseen, unheard, but always near, Still loved, still missed and very dear. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal"

So many fond memories in my youth of being in crowds that were so fortunate to see and hear the Franconia Notch Band, of which he was a driving force- 'Orange Blossom Special' with Brad on the fiddle was always a favorite. A truly gifted songwriter and performer.

I was a neighbor of Brad's many years ago in Littleton. All my best to Brad, his family, and those he touched with his music.
This is such an unimaginable loss to those of us fortunate to have known him. He was a gift to all of us and his music made our hearts soar. Some of us got to "perform" with Brad but mostly we watched and listened. My thoughts, prayers, and love go out

Brad,
My friend and colleague, you will be sincerely missed. I always enjoyed our late afternoon chats in your office at the academy, after a long day. You always had a new thought or idea on whatever we discussed and it was refreshing. Time moves so quickly and we loose contact with those we have worked with and have been close to.
Life is sometimes so short, in the perspective of who we all are. Rest in peace my friend, you were a talented artist of music and thought and an exceptional individual.
My best,
John Clark - NHPSTC - Bureau Chief/Captain (retired)

First, we would like to express our deepest Sympathy to Kathy, Diane, Warren, Lisa, and family. Darlene and I have known Brad all of our lives. He was like a brother to us. We called him Bumps and he called me Donut, and Darlene "Doc". Our families had a lot of musical nights with all kinds of musical instruments and singing going on. There are so many treasured moments to remember with Brad. He is a loss for so many people and the music industry., He will be missed. We know he is jamming in heaven with our mom, His Mom, Dad, John McIver, Nat Bean, and Mollie Carpenter. The picture of Darlene, Brad and I was taken around 1990 at Aunt Marion's 98th birthday. Rest in peace, Brad. You are in our hearts forever. Love, Darlene "Doc" Thompson Brown, Donna "Donut" Thompson Atkins, and Jack Atkins
