Brandi J Laughlin

Brandi J. Laughlin, 39 of Rock Falls died Monday March 26, 2018 at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born on January 13, 1979 in Sterling the daughter of Joseph and Renee (Zentz) Sibley. Brandi had earned her associates degree in Nursing and worked as a Registered Nurse, working in family practice and dermatology for over 12 years before deciding to spend more time with her children and staying at home to be with them full-time. She married Matthew Laughlin on July 14, 2001 in Rock Falls. Brandi was a member of St Andrew Catholic Church. Her utmost priority was her love and devotion to her husband and children. She had enjoyed cooking, decorating, gardening and music. Survivors include her husband, Matt; children: Isabella, Aiden and Ava; her mother Renee Sibley of Sterling; her sister Beth (Matt) Schueler of Rock Falls; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; her mother-in-law Melissa Laughlin of Rock Falls and her sister-in-law Michelle (Rick) Sorenesen of Stoughton, WI. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Sibley; her niece Emma and her cousin Cory. A gathering of friends and family will take place on Monday April 2, 2018 from 4-7 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1002 12th Avenue in Rock Falls. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Tuesday at 10 AM in St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls, with the Reverend Richard Russo, Celebrant officiating. In lieu of flower, a memorial has been established for her children.
