We love you!

My dearest Brandon,
Do you know how much we miss you? The kids think of you and talk about you all the time! There is a vacant spot in our lives that will never be filled. you were the star in our lives! Bryton told me to tell you that she passed off her sight words and can write to three hundred, paxton misses you taking him to Jbs, and peyton misses how you would push him on the swing, and I miss your friendship and warm smile and contagious laugh! We will miss and love you till we meet again! XOXOXO

We are so very sorry for your loss. Although we did not know Brandon, we are compelled to write and offer our condolences. We live in Minnesota and heard that a young man with the last name of Kimber was involved in a terrible mining accident, people here were asking if we were related. Kimber is my husband's first name. His mothers surname was Kimber. Please know our prayers are with you and your families.

To the Kimber Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy. Brandon had to be a very special man, and we know your loss is overwhelming. Our hearts go out to you during this difficult time. May you feel the presence of God each and every day and may His love and the promise of eternal life be a comfort to you as you find support and strength in the knowledge that many people, including strangers like us, are keeping you in daily thoughts and prayers.

Brandon, its been two weeks today since the world lost a hero and heaven gained an angel and words cannot describe the pain and loss your loved ones have dealt with. I wonder if you ever really knew how much you were loved. I know that you know now that life was never perfect but that your three babies knew you, loved you and thought you were Superman, you just couldn't fly. Please know that you are and forever will be a hero. Kristin, Bryton, Paxton, Peyton and Christina, know that Brandon loved you will always love you and will always be with you in your heart and your memories.
I love you

I am so sorry for the loss of Brandon. I can't imagine the pain that you are going through right now. We have all been so touched by the rescuers tragic deaths. They were so brave to go into the mines to look for the missing miners. They didn't have to do that. They wanted to do that. I admire your son/husband so much for going into that mine, not knowing when or if disaster could strike at anytime. Please know how grateful we are for your son's sacrifice to save the other missing miners. We will never forget your son.
God Bless,

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I would like to tell Brandon that we deaply miss him, also I would like to tell his kids that he was a great person, and a fun person to be around. My wife and I had been to many parties with Brandon during high school and shortly after high school. He was always smiling, or in a good mood, and always enjoying the company of his friends. I regret that we haven't seen Brondon for a few years after we moved away, but we miss him and haven't stopped thinking of him and his family.

Dear Kimber Family:

What a wonderful person. I have read the numerous postings here and on the internet about Brandon. He stands out as a hero and as someone who loved others. His love and heroism will shine forever. His sacrifice will never be forgotten.

It is wonderful to know that the children are blessed by such a wonderful mother and grandparents and family. Their love will help the children throughout their lives. They will stand as a testament - to the children - that Brandon was a wonderful father - and a hero. They will grow into wonderful adults and their children will know of Brandon. His love will never die. His memory will last forever.
