Brandy Renee White VALDESE Sgt. Brandy Renee White, 33, of Hickory, passed away Tuesday June 26, 2012 at her residence. Brandy was born Dec. 9, 1978 in Burke County. She was a Sgt. in the United States Army Reserve and attended New Beginnings Church in Hildebran. Brandy was a member of the American Legion, Nat-ional Rifle Association, and the National Honor Society Golden Key. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Doran Evan Dameron; grandfathers, Ralph Jac-umin and Charles White; and aunt, Kim Jacumin. Survivors include her mother, Cynthia "Cindy" Ramsey Trout and husband, Rick, of Bristol, Indianna; father, Cha-rles "Bob" Robert White and girlfriend, Teresa, of Valdese; her partner Beth Gill, of Hickory; grandparents, Thomas Dean Ramsey and wife, Grace, of Connelly Spr-ings, and Dorothy Jacu-min, of Rutherford Coll-ege. Aunts, Cheryl Ann Roper and Cecelia May-field, of Rutherford Coll-ege, Maria McDaniel, of Morganton, Julie Coffey, of Lenoir, Judith Jacu-min, of Hickory, and unc-les Mark Ramsey, of Tennessee, Oral White, of Rutherford College, Noel White, of Baton, Bi-ll Jacumin and Jeff Jacu-min, both of Rutherford College. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Ser-vice with the Revs. Paul David Kurts and Donna O'Neal officiating. Inter-ment will follow at the North Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Bl-ack Mountain, with Mili-tary Honors provided by the United States Army.
