Dearest Brannen:

You came back into my life a few years ago ... my "eye" whom I've known and loved since you were 8-ish. How grateful I have been since you were little for your being a kind of son to me...the one I only got to share on occasion, but loved without question. I adored how you grew up, how you cherished your friends, your family, your faith. And even though we strongly disagreed a couple months ago about politics, I knew that at least we could laugh at the strength of our opinions. I will miss you so much, B., and will carry you in my heart always and forever.
