Brenda Kelly Cox

Brenda Kelly New-Cox of Rockwall, TX, entered heaven's gate on August 19th, 2022.

Brenda was born in Dallas, TX on February 2, 1959. She attended North Mesquite High School, prior to her marriage to Jackie Cox. Brenda started a career with Texas Instruments and expanded her family with two beautiful girls, Ashley & Jacqueline for whom she loved and adored.

Brenda eventually retired from Texas Instruments after 25 years to dedicate more time with her growing family as two grandchildren were now seeking her attention as well as her love of horses. When Brenda's children, Ashley and Jacqueline were born, she decided to dedicate her life to being a wonderful mother. She loved being involved with her daughters' passions and also guiding them through life's lessons. She was devoted to being involved in their drill team and cheerleading. She always loved attending their practices and games. Brenda was also their biggest cheerleader and supporter in life. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. They were truly her pride and joy. When Brenda wasn't at her home filling it with warmth and love she could be found at the stable with her horses. Since childhood, Brenda always found happiness raising her horses and using her quirky sense of humor to bring smiles and laughter to her friends and family.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Marie Larimore (Denton) and her father Thomas G. New. Brenda is survived by her husband, Jackie Cox, Daughters Ashley & Jacqueline, granddaughters Maleah and Lexi, as well as her sister, Ann New-Miles.

Brenda will be greatly missed by many but will live on in the hearts of everyone that loved her.
