Brenda HARROLD Obituary
July 11, 1963 - January 15, 2016
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Brenda Suzanne Harrold passed away peacefully at the age of 52 after a sudden illness. Brenda was the beloved wife of Simon George. She was always the life of the party, a true humanitarian and animal lover. Her family and friends will miss her wonderful sense of humour and hearty laugh as well as her beautiful gardens and amazing cooking! Brenda was very fortunate to have a lifelong friendship with her best friend Lorie Scanzano. A funeral was held in Ottawa on January 22, 2016. Brenda would love it if you toast her with a beer or a glass of wine the next time you are celebrating. Contributions in Brenda's memory can be made to the Golden Retriever Rescue or a charity that is close to your heart. Love your sister Boo (Barbara) and nieces Samantha (Ryan) and Stephanie (Paulo).

I just heard the very sad news a few weeks ago from friends at Centennial academy Hs (FB group ) where we all attended. I am so shocked & saddened to hear of Brenda's passing. I grew up on Sherston Drive Montreal West with the Harrold family a few door away and always fond of our wonderful neighbors.
To surviving family Barbra & other I do not know please accept my sincerest condolences. Brenda was always full of life, caring & so glad she loved her animals as we have a few pups we adore.

I am so deeply sorry for the loss of your sweetie. Brenda was a big part of our lives when my sister and I were growing up. Our families spent a lot of time together. Dear Simon: I was shocked this morning to see that Brenda had passed away. I had no idea she was so sick. I shared a room with her at the General for several days until they moved her to the 5th to start her treatment. SHe talked a lot about her beloved dogs.
