BRENDA L. (SHAFFER)
Passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2002, in Pittsburgh, PA. She is survived by her loving partner, Oliver Blackstock II; eight loving children, James Shaffer, Selena Shaffer, Stefon Shaffer, Charena Swann, Bernadette Thompson, Willie Keepler, Ronald Keepler, and Oliver Blackstock III; 20 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her four brothers, Melvin Shaffer, Michael Shaffer, Harry Shaffer, Reuben Shaffer; and three sisters, Mary Louise Chapel, Marsha Ann Andrews, and Eliza Shaffer as well as many devoted friends. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Shaffer; two brothers, John Shaffer, Jr. and Thomas Shaffer; and a sister, Charlene Shaffer. Friends may view on Saturday, November 23, 2002, from 11 am to 1 pm in the THOMAS L. GEISEL FUNERAL HOME, INC. 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA where a funeral service will be conducted at 1 pm. Interment will be in Lebanon Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA. The family requests that contributions be made in honor of Brenda to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
