Brenda Ann Schaefer

Brenda Ann Hebert Schaefer passed away on April 17, 2017, at the age of 74. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel Wolf Hebert and William Joseph Hebert, and her brother, Errol Joseph Hebert. She is survived by her daughter, Chante' Schaefer Loupe (Reed), her sister Nadine Hebert Meyer (John), and her grandchildren, Andrew Schaefer Lowe, Jackson Reed Loupe and Olivia Hazel Loupe. She was the aunt of Shawn L. Meyer, Lori Meyer Baker and great-aunt of Corinne Baker, Camille Baker and Colin Baker. She is also survived by her former spouse, Charles W. Schaefer. Brenda graduated from St. Stephens in 1960 and before retiring, was the payroll supervisor at Touro Infirmary for 42 years. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution – Francois deLery Chapter. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, on Thursday, April 20, 2017, beginning at 11AM, with a Mass at 1PM.
