Brenda is my sister. I've known her all her life; the most memorable is when she flew across country to Oakland with her first 2 babies to be with me when I had my baby 1975. I had no idea about taking care of a newborn. She cared for him as her own. She stayed with me for 1 month and I learned how to nurture and take care of my newborn. I thank her all the time for that, my sister will be totally missed.

My deepest Condolences to the family and friends whose lives have been gifted with such an amazing Woman, Sister, Mother. We can go on and on, for Brenda wore many hats. There is not enough words to tell how she told anybody and everybody about her journey and relationship in coming to know the Lord! No matter what was going on with her body. Brenda didn't let it stop her from lifting His name up, by the time she'd finish you would forget what you were complaining about. Her Testimony would make you want to sing "I won't complain "! Sis you will truly be missed but never forgotten!

The year was 1961 I had transferred from Ernie Pyle to Locke Elementary school. I was scared.
As Mrs James James introduced me to the class, Unable to contain herself Brenda waved her hands and blurted out, "That's my cousin. Can she sit by me?'. Mrs. James Obliged. I found a Cousin!
My Love, thoughts and prayers will never go unsaid. Carol (Francis) McQuay
