Wytheville, VA
Brenda Sue Mills age 68, passed away on Monday April 23, 2018 at her home in Wytheville, VA.
Brenda was born in Smyth County to the late Lee & Annie Harris. Along with her parents, she is also preceded in death by Jay Sayers, her longtime companion; sisters Lockie Wadsworth and Betty Anderson; and brothers Benny Harris, Dennis Harris, and Billy Harris.
Survivors include her daughter Leigh Ann Burnett & husband John; son James Farmer & wife Angelia; grandchildren Tesla Scott & husband Gary, Leutisha Nelson, Brandon Farmer & Brooke, and Austin Farmer & Allyson; great grandchildren Arlys Pridemore, Brady Pridemore, Bailey Scott, Mason Scott, Walter James Nelson III, Shawn Scott, Carson Farmer, Aiden Farmer, and Tucker Farmer; brothers Graham Harris & wife Darcus, Pete Harris & wife Phyllis, Don Harris & wife Peggy, Dexter Harris & wife Mavis, Darrell Harris & wife Lora, Bo “Jeffery” Harris & wife Francis, and Ronnie Harris & Michelle; sisters Joyce Sword & husband Ronald, and Tammy Mcgrady & Dennis; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday April 26, 2018 from the Bradley’s Funeral Chapel in Chilhowie with Pastor Mike Sage officiating. Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Saltville. The family will receive friends from 12:00-1:00PM on Thursday at the funeral chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.bradleysfh.com. Bradley’s Funeral Chapel of Chilhowie is serving the Mills Family.
