I have great memories of Brent from High School and beyond. I can remember his smiling face, his great sense of humour, and his willingness to help out others. While I had not seen Brent for some time, my last memory of him is a fond one of bumping into him on Jarvis Street in Toronto, giving each other a hug and cancelling our immediate plans in order to have a "quick beer" and catch up with each other. He will be greatly missed by many, many people. My condolences to all of his extended family.

I was very saddened to hear today that Brent has passed away. Although our adult life has led us to live in distant places, I still think of then fun we had as kids at the "Boat Club". To all the family, please know that the memories of Elspeth and Brent will always remain with me.

Syl, the Butler boys and the entire Bulter family,
My prayers are with you in this most difficult of times. It is so hard to comprehend.
From when we first met in High School, his championship sailing Summers in Woodlands, right thru to the present, I always have and always will have a smile on my face when I think of Brent, his hugh welcoming smile, his generous hospitality and his grand sense of fun. He will be so greatly
missed but so fondly remembered.

My Dear Sylvie, Matthew,Adam and Jared,
I am so very sorry to hear about Brent. I am afraid that there is nothing that I can say that will help ease your sorrow except to say that even though we haven't kept in touch in recent years I often remember the great times we all had in Lery, the B-B-Qs, the yacht club and the many drinks we consumed and I smile. One of the few things in life that can not be taken away from us is our memories. Remember, smile and it shall warm your heart. My sincerest sympathies, Sylvie,
With love,
