Steve's whole face lit up with pleasure when he smiled and his sincerity, kindness, warmth and positivity touched us all. It saddens my heart to know how much MS took from him and in turn, from us. I feel so fortunate to nave known Steve over so many years. My prayers go out to his family, friends and other loved ones.
Rest in peace friend. Know you'll be remembered by many. We'll especially miss you at our 50th reunion too.

I was shocked & saddened to hear about Steve. We go way back to the 5th grade where we had a crush on each other. Also both lived on 17th Street until I moved away. I did reconnect at the reunion and we had a very nice visit. We had several more visits over the years and he was such a positive and wonderful man. I am glad that he is no longer suffering and can be a peace. Hugs & blessings to those he left behind.

Carol
I'm so sorry to read of the loss of another brother. knew the family as a youngster growing up in Bellingham, and with you in Rainbow. But I've been gone 45 years. Your family sure didn't need this sorrow. My prayers for your comfort as you continue to move forward.

I took care of Steve's yard for about the last 5 years. He was such a wonderful, strong, gracious man. Stevie (as I affectionately called him) did so much to help me with my little business. When I was just starting he must've found 5-6 different people for me to work for, some I'm still working for today. Stevie always had a smile and never complained about any of the numerous things he had to go through, things that would break a lesser man. I can't believe he is gone. I hope you know I love you Steve and will miss you greatly until we meet again my friend.

I was one of the sales representatives that worked with Steve for many years. First with Olin skis and them with Volkl. we shared many good times, played alot of golf together and were very close. to say that I will miss him is a understatement. I spent time with him over the last few months and made sure that I got him totally caught up with the ski industry.
He was a real friend. I hear he passed away while in Vail, coloarado this week at our national sales meeting and am in still in real shock. Once again, i will miss him greatly.
Additionally I really enjoyed his sense of humor. He was as loyal as a friend one could ever find in life. A true confidant.

Steve was my good friend and I admired him greatly for his courage in dealing with the MS. He set a great example for everyone that has to deal with adversity.
He didn't complain, but rather adapted every part of his life to deal with the limitations imposed by the disease.
I will always remember him fondly, and feel fortunate to call him my friend.
I'm glad his suffering is over, and I know that God will bless him for eternity.
