I'm so very sorry to hear of Brent's passing! He always had a friendly smile on his face and was a joy to be around. He was one of my classmates at Oak Grove HS. We are planning our 30-year reunion and will burn a candle in memory of Brent at the event. My deepest sympathies.

I never met Brent. However he was apparently an "incredible man". I admire him for his running accomplishments and for his dedication to a demanding sport. I am sorry that his efforts were cut short.

Dianne, I feel like I need something to do--some instruction--because there is nothing to say. I only met Brent a couple of times, but I heard about him often--from you.
I'm so glad you have some much support in the APA and the running community and please know that Betty and I want to be a part of that support. She got an extra hug or two over the weekend. You are in our thoughts....Bud & Betty Laumer, APA, Bike-Walk Arkansas

Dianne,
Brent was a joyful man. I knew his smiling face before I ever knew his name (or his HHH name). I am so sorry for your great loss and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you begin your grief journey.
