Brent Morrison Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 13, 2015.
Brent Morrison, 44, of Fort Smith, died tragically on July 11, 2015 in Fort Smith. He was born April 7, 1971 in Little Rock, AR, and he was employed by Aerotek in Tulsa, OK.

If you asked Brent Morrison about his day, he would say, "I'm living the dream." If you knew Brent, you knew that he meant what he said. He was a man with a perpetual smile on his face and an unsinkable attitude.

He loved running, biking, his friends, and above all, his wife Dianne. Brent was a member of Spa Pacers in Hot Springs and Western Arkansas Runners in Fort Smith.

Brent leaves family and friends who will miss him terribly. He is survived by his wife, Dianne; his father, Jackson Dale Morrison and his step-mother, Nancy Morrison of North Little Rock; his brother, Jackson Dale Morrison Jr. of North Little Rock; his step-brother, Joel Newman and his wife Lori, of North Little Rock; his father in law, "Moe" Suhrbier and Gail; his great friends, Tonya and Robert Gambill of Conway, AR and his furry friends Molly and Lucy.

Brent was tragically taken from us On July 11, 2015, by an act that we have yet to understand. Come and celebrate the life of this incredible man on Friday, July 17, 2015, at 10:00 AM at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Please feel free to wear your running gear or something Orange, (Brent's favorite color but not OSU stuff).

Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Green, Corbett Sanders, Calvin Evans, Jeff Maxwell, Fred Borchert,, Mike Rogers, Moe Suhrbier, and Ray Starzec.

The family will visit with friends following the service in Edwards Chapel. Services and cremation are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to The Clayton House, 514 North 6th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72901. Online condolences may be sent to www.edwardsfuneralhome.com

Dianne, I feel like I need something to do--some instruction--because there is nothing to say. I only met Brent a couple of times, but I heard about him often--from you.
I'm so glad you have some much support in the APA and the running community and please know that Betty and I want to be a part of that support. She got an extra hug or two over the weekend. You are in our thoughts....Bud & Betty Laumer, APA, Bike-Walk Arkansas
