Brett Robbin Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jan. 1, 2023.
Brett Robbin, 60, beloved husband to Deborah Pinell, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 24, 2022 after a brave battle with cancer at Hartford Hospital. He was born to the late Frederick Robbin and Sandra Robbin Wolfe on January 25, 1962. He grew up in Bloomfield, and recently retired from the State of CT Tax Dept. after 30 years of service. Brett loved to see the world with Debbie and traveled to numerous places, their favorite being Las Vegas. He was crazy about sports and a die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, and also cheered the NY Yankees and the Golden State Warriors.

Aside from his wife, Brett leaves behind his brother David Robbin and his wife Nancy of South Windsor, his step-daughter Camille Pinell-McFadden, her partner Ian Naclerio, and his adored grandchildren Mia and Lucas. Brett also leaves behind his nephews, Kyle and Kory Robbin and niece, Kaitlin Robbin Jones.

Brett's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Hospice nurses and all the wonderful nurses at Hartford Hospital and Hartford Healthcare at Home.

Debbie, Dave and family - I was so sorry to hear about Brett's passing. Brett was one of the original "fellas" in high school and we shared many laughs and good times over the years. I have such fond memories of our poker games and trips to Montreal! Brett had a warm heart and a gentle spirit. God Bless you my friend, may you rest in peace. Mark

To the family of Brett Robin,
My condolences on your loss. While Brett and I experienced gaps in connections as life pulled us in different directions, we always left every interaction in a positive "good to see you" way. I will hold on to the many, many poker lessons learned from Brett, including saying "whatever is in my hand" to win
((((smile)))))!!!!!

Hoping your memories sustain you as time passes and you are comforted knowing he is at peace now. Be well!
