I remember Brett from grades K to 6 on Long Island. Always wondered what happened to him after all these years. We just recently became friends on Facebook which is why I'm even more stunned to learn of his passing. Condolences to his family and friends.

Oh my goodness...I am so sorry for your loss and mine. I babysat this beautiful child and he was always the most sweetest and smart little boy. I enjoyed watching him grow via Facebook and sorry I didn't stay in more contact. Brettman and his siblings were the reason I knew I wanted to be a mom. RIP, sweet sweet boy. Every time I see an old school Gameboy, I will think of you. Hugs and love to the family.

On behalf of the Allis family, both immediate and extended, our condolences and prayers go out to the Flipse's for this nearly unbearable, unthinkable loss. We have fond memories of Brettman playing in the yard in Glen Cove, happy and fun loving. We never know for what, or when the heavens call us, but we have to take solace in the fact that the universe is greater than we mortals are. We know he was called for a higher purpose. I am saddened by the news, Brettman will be so missed by everyone. I watched him grow into a handsome, happy, loving young man. My daughter Nicole started working at the General Store at a very young age and she loved Brett's boys, like her little brothers. Words can not express how sad I am.
