Brian is my first cousin and one of my favorite people on the planet. I´m still in shock that he´s gone; I´m still waiting for him to recover from a minor traffic accident.
My heart goes out to his son Aidan, who is Brian´s favorite person on the planet. All the pieces came together for Brian the minute Aidan was born. I´ll be forever grateful that he has such an amazing mom to look after him. Brian´s spirit will never leave them.
I´ll be forever thankful for Brian´s sister Julie and brother Scot for staying with him to the end. I can´t imagine the strength needed in those moments. I´m comforted knowing Brian left this earth surrounded by such genuine love and support.
I´m going to miss Brian´s laugh, his bear hugs, and listening to him talk about music and Aidan. I hope to see my sweet cousin on the other side.

My memories of my cousin Brian are from the best part of my life, my time spent with Mamaw as a child. My sister, Lisa, and I spent every summer and every holiday with our cousins Brian and Jimmy at Mamaw´s house growing up. We did everything together. We went to Vacation Bible School; picked blackberries and crabapples; rehearsed for Christmas pageants at the Gano Church; had Easter egg hunts; and went trick-or-treating at Mamaw´s for her famous popcorn balls! We had a sweet, simple life with Mamaw and all of us were blessed to have Mamaw and each other! I know Brian is in Heaven now giving Mamaw one of his big bear hugs!

Brian was my neighbor while we attended Little Miami. I remember sitting and listening to him play at home and with the band. He was a bright, shining soul with a smile that made his eyes sparkle. Such good memories of him! Rest in piece, and rock on, Brian!
